This EP is a collaboration between Coyote, the boys behind the Is It Balearic? concept, and Los Angeles based dream pop duo Florecer, who are also involved in the rather fine Saidera releases.

Here they bring the virtual heat with four deep dubby tracks with floaty vocals and a sunny vibe.

More about Florecer:

Florecer is the newest musical expression of Allie Schulz and Alex Pasternak. A project that bloomed from lifelong studies in ethnomusicology and spirituality, imbued with the depth and vibrancy of true love. Florecer began as a sonic experiment that Schulz and Pasternak would explore throughout frequent surf trips from their home in Los Angeles to Northern Baja, Mexico. Composing from a small makeshift studio above the Pacific, the duo made a practice of creating ethereal soundscapes to complement their synthesis of surfing, yoga and meditation.

As the harmony of their relationship blossomed, so did the scope of the project. Over time, the couple began to share the fruits of their experimentation in beachside DJ sets along the Baja peninsula; defining elements of rhythm and samples layered over their richly textured vocals, dreamy melodies and Spanish guitar. The music reflects these many facets of the night: from meditation to jubilation; from moonlit waves to serene golden sunrise; a sanctuary for dancing and dreaming.

The name Florecer (floh-reh-sehr) is Spanish for flourish, to bloom or to blossom. Florecer is a flourishing of the love that this duo have for each other; the burgeoning light that propelled their daughter Aurora into this world. Allow Florecer to take you to a place of serenity, devotion and wonder.
